Giulia Filippi (IT, 1982) is a visual artist and researcher in the field of education.

After studying visual art in Venice (IT) and Lahti (FIN), she attended a master in sociology and botany in Florence (IT). Since 2006, she works with different institutions to expand the educational program using the art practice to create connections to knowledge through experience. Among these: Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Viaindustriae, La Galleria Nazionale, ICA Boston, La Biennale di Venezia, Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto, OVS spa, WWF Italia, Fondazione Marino Golinelli, Studio Orta, Raumars, Felcos Umbria, Istituto Europeo Design, Cooperativa Densa, Palazzo Lucarini and many schools of all levels.

In 2012, with Leonardo Bastianelli, she founded Cinquepiùdue, a collective group of research in art practices, design and traditional techniques.

Since 2001 her artistic researchers been exhibited in many occasions in independent and institutional contexts, including: La Galleria Nazionale (Rome), Collezione Peggy Guggenheim (Venice), Palazzo Te (Mantua), Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto (Biella), Palazzo della Penna (Perugia), Accademia del disegno (Florence), Colli independent (Rome), Galleria A+A (Venice), Parco per l’Arte in Cancelli (Foligno, PG), Bevilacqua la Masa (Venice), Palazzo Lucarini (Trevi, PG), Palazzo Collicola (Spoleto, PG), Palazzo Orti Manara (Verona), Rauma Art Museum (Rauma, FIN), Bjcem (Thessaloniki, GR), Bivy Gallery (Anchorage, AK). The works are collected in various publications and are included in private and public collections including the Giorgio Maffei fund of the GAM of Turin.
